Hawfinch

I know its not the best photo but its the only photo I have so far of a Hawfinch.  On my first visit to Lynford Arboretum, Thetford I did not take my camera and viewed Hawfinch for the first time in my life.  On my return one week later the Hawfinch was there again on the "sombrero" bird bath taking a drink. The "tunnel" as the local birders call the relatively small enclosed tree lined avenue, with well stocked feeders, various nest boxes, a large shallow hollow which is kept topped up with water for the birds to bathe or drink.  Apparently the owners of the strip of land even scatter nuts for the Jays to feed on.  During our short time viewing this area we saw numerous Yellowhammers, Nuthatch, Tree Creeper, Coal Tit, Goldcrest, Brambling, Chaffinch, Blue tit, Robin, Siskin and as previously mentioned the Hawfinch and Jays.
