Yellow-legged Gull at Gibraltar Point

Yellow-legged Gull

True romance on a deserted island at Gibraltar Point!  A gentleman in the hide with us had a list of 46 different bird species spotted today.  I think he said his most exciting spot had been the curlew, which he pointed out to us.  He was hoping to track down a Water Rail which someone else had noted.

Hebridean Sheep at Gibraltar Point

Hebridean Sheep

I am not sure who was most surprised, these sheep appeared over the brow of a hill while we were walking along a quiet path towards the bird hide.
